Dog Registration Requirements
Your dog must pass our temperament screening if he is going to participate in daycare
or Deluxe boarding
Your adult dog must be spayed or neutered
Pups may be unaltered until 6 months, or until a female's first season/heat, whichever
comes first.
Your dog must be current on all vaccinations
All dogs entering SNIFFERS Doggie Depot must be current on all vaccinations.
Proof of the following vaccinations or titers (titers will need to be redone
every six months) from your veterinarian must be provided:
- Rabies
- Distemper
- Bordetella (kennel cough) – annually
We also recommend that all dogs are on parasite preventatives, i.e. Frontline,
Interceptor, Heartguard.
Your dog must be well-socialized
He/she cannot be protective of toys, people, or space, and be neither aggressive
nor extremely anxious/nervous
Your dog must be well-socialized
In order for us to give the appropriate care to your dog, he/she must be well-socialized with people. All dogs using any of SNIFFERS facilities or services must be approachable by staff. We will refuse service to a dog that snaps or bites at humans for ANY reason.
You must read and agree to our policies
There are additional requirements for dogs using our daycare service. These dogs will be required to pass a temperament screening in order to ensure safety of dogs and SNIFFERS staff. We also ask that all dogs attending daycare wear a quick release (not standard buckle) collar. In addition, all dogs over 6 months must be spayed or neutered.

Schedule an interview (needed for Daycare or Deluxe Boarding only)
To schedule a temperament screening (needed for Daycare or Deluxe Boarding only) please call us at 301-738-6781. Be sure to bring your dog's vaccination records with you to the screening. Screenings usually take 20 – 30 minutes. This will allow time for questions and a tour of our facility.
